The Postal service has multiple pay systems, most affiliated with a specific
union. Two of the largest pay scales are included here. There are also pay
scales for the following groups:
- Part-Time Flexible Employees (PS) Schedule One (P1) - starting at
$20.23 to a high of $22.80 an hour.
- Part-Time Regular Employees (PS) Schedule One (P1) - starting at
$19.45 to a high of $21.92 an hour.
- Full-Time (PS) Rate Schedule One (P1) - starting at $40,461 to a
high of $45,595 per year.
- Full-Time Annual City Carrier (CC) Schedule - starting at $36,727
to a high of $49,049 per year.
You won't know the initial pay offer until you are called for the interview.
